Cleaning

CAUTION
Contamination with crop protection agents.
Wear the personal protective outfit when clea-
ning the crop protection sprayer!
Monitor the air and hydraulic hoses especially
¾
carefully.
Never use gasoline, benzene, petroleum or
¾
mineral oils on air and hydraulic hoses.
After cleaning, check all hydraulic lines for
¾
leaks and loose connections.
Lubricate the machine after cleaning, espe-
¾
cially after cleaning with a high pressure /
steam jet cleaner or when using liposoluble
cleaning agents.
Pay attention to the statutory regulations
¾
concerning the handling and waste disposal
of cleaning agents.
Check for chafing and signs of damage. Re-
¾
medy any faults immediately!
Prior to working on the electrical system,
¾
disconnect it from the electric current supply.
Service life and reliability of the crop protection
sprayer essentially depend on the time the ma-
terial of the crop protection sprayer is exposed
to the crop protection agent.
Keep the exposure time of the spraying
¾
mixture as short as possible, e.g. by daily
cleaning.
Do not leave the spraying mixture for an
¾
unnecessary period of time in the spraying
mixture container, e.g. not over night.
Always clean the Shuttle before flushing in a
¾
different crop protection agent.

Internal cleaning of spraying
mixture container
1. Close valve A.
2. Open valve B.
3. Close valve 3.
4. Depending on the filling level, open valve
2 or 4.
5. Set valve 5 to internal tank cleaning.
6. Turn the lever 6 up to fresh water pump. Water
is suctioned from the fresh water tank.
7. Move lever 6 to the centre position to turn
off the pump again after internal cleaning is
completed.
8. Close valve 2 or 4.
9. Close valve B.
10. Open valve A.
11. Pump over the content of the spraying
mixture container into the crop protection
sprayer.

Outside cleaning

With outside cleaning, undesired contamina-
tion is removed and the unintentional dripping
/ draining of adhering crop protection agents is
prevented.
Wear personal protective outfit during outside
cleaning. Observe the regulations and notes of
the crop protection agent manufacturers!
Cleaning water must not enter surface water or
the sewage system.
Perform cleaning therefore on an unpaved and
green area.
Outside cleaning is required:
when the machine is soiled with spraying
mixture.
when changing the crop protection agent.
before winter storage.
before care / maintenance of the machine.
