Back Panel Controls and Connections
Refer to Figure 2.4 for the following discussions of back panel controls and connectors.

TTL OUT Connector

The TTL OUT connector is located in the upper left hand corner of the rear panel. This output is the
electrical equivalent of the front panel optical output and is primarily intended for use as a
synchronization signal. Additionally, in CW mode, TTL OUT can be used to indicate output on.

GPIB Connector

The GPIB connector is located at the top center of the back panel. The 8033 GPIB connector
meets IEEE−488.1 specifications. The interface specifications are listed in Table 3.1 on page 17.

AC Power Entry Module and Fuse

The AC Power Entry Module and fuse are located at the right side of the 8033's back panel. The
8033 must be connected to a properly rated AC source in order to operate. The fuse should only be
replaced with the same value fuse, as indicated on the 8033's back panel.
