3.3 Ventilation
The Ecolift come equipped with a ventilation
connection
valve and an activated charcoal filter. As an al-
ternative a ventilation pipe can be connected to
the Ecolift in accordance with the norm. In this
case the ventilation valve can be removed and
the ½ inch threaded connection can be atta-
ched directly to the ventilation pipe (which
should be run to ambient air – roof connection).
3.4 Installation in high groundwater / earth
moisture areas
In the case that the Staufix FKA® for con-
)
crete slab installation is to be installed in a
floor slab which will be protected against gro-
undwater or earth moisture – sealing gasket
set 83023 must be used (accessory). If the
concrete slab will be equipped with a mem-
brane or sheet – this sheet is to be connec-
ted to the Staufix FKA® body with the coun-
ter flange supplied with the 83023. In the
case that a water proof concrete is being
used then the heavy duty Kautschuk seal (in-
cluded with the 83023) is inserted and then
fixed tight with the counter flange. Please in-
stall the Kautschuk flange properly so that
the pre-drillled holes in the Kautschuk seal
match up with the screw holes of the coun-
ter flange. (see illustration 7). In the case that
the water tight slab barrier is penetrated by
drainage pipes or conduit pipes to the SWA,
it should be assured that these penetrations

attachment must be shortened to the re-

The Ecolift is equipped with an integrated
odour free floor drain for the drainage of
floor / basement water.
The connection of the integrated floor drain

terior connection pipe. Place the connec-
tion pipe into the appropriate opening and
connected with the red finger clamp. In the
case that the installation depth of the Eco-
lift has been changed due to installation re-
quirements, the internal floor drain connec-
tion may need to be adjusted to meet the
