User Inspections
Daily Inspections
For safety reasons it is recommended to check the following daily e.g. at system startup. If you
detect damage to a component or other failure proceed as described in Page 46.
System Part
Auxiliary Power Supply (Battery
Charger):
• Housing
• Mains power cord
• DC power cable
• Connectors.
Service Lock system (mechanical ar-
resting device).
Covers and housings on Robotics
Vero.
Warning labels
Safety Notes
To avoid personal injury or system damage due to clamping between moving parts of the
device it is mandatory that the cover of Robotics Vero is mounted properly and shows no
damage. Do not operate robotics if a cover is damaged or removed.
Do not open the cover of Robotics Vero. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the
device!

Inspection
Integrity of housing and isolation by visual control:
• No twists or cracks in housing and cable jacket
• No damage to bend-protection
• No damage to connectors
Functional control:
• Correct indication of Locked and Unlocked states
• Lock/unlock Service Locks left/right
• For each Service Lock left/right check that both
LOCK ALL LEDs illuminate
Integrity of housing and isolation by visual control:
• No cracks in covers
• No loose covers
Legibility of warning labels and symbols on hardware
components.
