Couch Set-up Verification When Not Using Robotics Vero

General Information
When ExacTrac Vero is not used for patient positioning, Robotics Vero shall be aligned in its
Center Position (no Robotics tilt). It is recommended to verify the correct alignment using the
supplied water level before patient treatment.
Please refer to the technical data sheet provided with the water level for details regarding usage
and precision.
Safety Notes
It is vital to perform correct patient setup before any kind of radiation treatment, i.e. with or
without application of Robotics Vero. You must verify sufficient precision of the current
patient setup prior to treatment. If performing treatments without using ExacTrac Vero for
patient setup, verify the precision of the current patient setup using an appropriate
alternative measuring device (e.g. a digital water level).
The digital water level shall be calibrated on a regular basis, at least once a year under the
responsibility of the clinical operator.
