Boom Emergency Lowering
In the event of total loss of engine power or hydraulic
pump failure with an elevated load, the situation must be
properly evaluated and dealt with on an individual basis.
Contact a local Xtreme Authorized Distributor for
specific instructions.
Secure the Telehandler and area by following the proce-
dure below until the situation has been properly evaluated.
1. Clear the area around the Telehandler of all personnel.
2. Engage the parking brake switch to the ON position
and place the sift lever in NEUTRAL.
3. Block all four wheels.
4. Section off a large area under the boom with tape to
restrict any personnel from entering this potentially
dangerous area.
