Operation Mode (OP-MODE)

There are four possible fork configurations so there are
four operation modes: 48x4x2, 48x5x2, 72x6x2, and
Hook. The selected OP-MODES must correspond to the
Hook setting or the size of the forks that are mounted on
the carriage.
Note
For Hook mode, the LMI assumes that the carriage and
forks remain on the forklift.
Press the function key for the OP-MODE selector (3) in
the upper right hand corner (Fig. 4.30).
The most recent configuration will be now be highlight-
ed at the top of the screen (in this example, the "Hook"
MODE).

To change to any of the other three OP-MODES, rotate
the control knob (5) until the required OP-MODE is shown.
Press the SET key (8) to confirm.
After the required OP-MODE is selected, press the SET
key. If a different OP-MODE is required, press the func-
tion key for the OP-MODE selector located in the upper
right hand corner of the LMI display. The current OP-
MODE will now be highlighted at the top of the screen.

To change to any of the other three OP-MODES, rotate
the control knob until the required OP-MODE is shown.
Press the SET key to confirm.
In either case, now press the SET key (8) again to go to
the Main Working Screen (L6). The Main Working Screen
for the "Hook" OP-MODE is shown below. In this exam-
ple, the Hook (boom mounted lifting point) on the forklift
can now be used with the LMI system.

If the OP-MODE needs to be changed again, press the
function key for the OP-MODE selector (5) located in
the upper right hand corner. The current OP-MODE will
now be highlighted at the top of the screen (Fig. 4.33).
To change to any of the other three OP-MODES, rotate
the control knob until the required OP-MODE is shown.
Press the SET key to confirm.
Note
For proper operation, the LMI system must be operated
in the correct corresponding OP-MODE. Changing the
fork size or using the Hook without changing to the cor-
rect OP-MODE will cause inaccurate readings and faulty
operation of the LMI system.

Main Working Screen

The Main Working Screen is a continuously live-updated
screen. Below is an example of the 48x4x2 fork config-
