Solargizer
The twin battery box mounted solar panel, Solargizer,
provides a trickle charge to the batteries. It does not
involve any operator interaction.

Cable Reel
The telehandler is equipped with a cable reel which is
used to deliver power and ground to the side shift / fork
position carriage. The operator selects side shift or fork
positioning function using a switch on the dash board.
One cable goes from the reel to the dashboard, and an-
other cable wraps around the reel and on to the carriage.
It also contains sensors that measure boom extension
and boom angle for the LMI to calculate in conjunction
with pressure transducers in the lift cylinder when an
overload has occurred.

Environmental Kit
The Environmental kit is a spill prevention system. Using a
series of check valves (Figure 4.50), special dump valves
(Figures 4.51 and 4.53) and a ball-valve (Figure 4.54) the
system prevents fluid loss from the hydraulic tank in the
event of a broken ruptured hose.

Engine Dump Valve E2
The engine has a special dump valve,E2, that allows
quicker and controlled draining of the engine oil. The en-
gine dump valve is operated by pulling up the small lever
and turning it toward the front of the valve. The amount of
fluid drained can be stopped by simply turning the lever
back to the side position.
