Engine temperature
warning light
The
warning light illuminates for a
short time when the ignition is turned
on to show that the light is working.
If the light illuminates while driving,
the engine coolant temperature is
excessively hot:
Stop the vehicle as soon as it is
safe to do so.
Let the engine idle for a few
minutes.
If the light remains on, contact a
Holden Dealer.
Warning
Do not continue driving with the
temperature gauge needle in the
red area. The engine is too hot.
Continued operation of an
overheated engine will result in
severe engine damage.

Engine oil pressure light

The I warning light illuminates
for a short time when the ignition is
turned on to show that the light is
working.
If the I warning light illuminates
while the engine is running, the
engine oil pressure or level is low:
Stop the vehicle as soon as it is
safe to do so.
Turn the ignition off and remove
the key.
Check the engine oil level. See
Engine oil on page 209.
If necessary, contact a Holden
Dealer.
Caution
Engine damage may result if
you keep driving. Do not run the
engine. If the oil level is normal,
have the system checked by the
nearest Holden Dealer.

Low fuel warning light

The Y indicator light illuminates and
a chime sounds when the fuel level
is low:
Caution
To avoid damage to the catalytic
converter, fill the fuel tank above
the low fuel level.

Immobiliser light

The o indicator light illuminates
when there is a fault in the
immobiliser system.
The engine cannot be started.
Contact a Holden Dealer.
