Checking oil level

Check the engine oil level before
a long journey.
•
The engine must be at operating
temperature and the ignition
turned off for at least 10 minutes.
1. Park the vehicle on a level
surface.
2. Remove the dipstick and
wipe clean.
3. Insert the dipstick to the stop on
the handle.
4. Remove and read the oil level.
The level should be at the MAX
mark. Add oil if the level is at the
MIN mark.

5. Insert the dipstick to the stop on
the handle.
Note
The engine oil level must not exceed
the MAX mark on the dipstick.
