Driving and operating
Warning
Do not use the cruise control
when road or driving conditions
require varying speeds. A
consistent speed isn't practical
in heavy, varying traffic or on
winding, slippery or rough roads.
The cruise control does not apply
the vehicle's brakes. Therefore
the vehicle may gain speed when
going down steep hills.
When climbing steep hills it is
possible for the vehicle to lose
speed. You may need to switch
off the cruise control and use the
accelerator pedal.
Setting cruise control
1. Press m.
m illuminates white.
2. Accelerate to the desired speed
(above 25 km/h).
3. Rotate the wheel towards SET/-
and release.
m illuminates green.
4. Take your foot off the accelerator
pedal.
Increasing set speed
1. Rotate the wheel towards RES/+
and hold it.
The vehicle will accelerate.
2. Release the wheel at the desired
speed.
3. Rotate the wheel towards RES/+
and release it immediately.
The speed will increase by
1-2 km/h.
Decreasing set speed
1. Rotate the wheel towards SET/-
and hold it.
The vehicle will decelerate.
2. Release the wheel at the desired
speed.
3. Rotate the wheel towards SET/-
and release it immediately.
The speed will decrease by
1-2 km/h.
To temporarily accelerate
When the cruise control is on:
1. Press the accelerator pedal.
Note
Increasing speed will not
interfere with cruise control
operation or change the set
speed.
To return to the set speed:
1. Take your foot off the accelerator
pedal.
