Chapter 1 DASHBOARD TILT STEERING AND HORN Tilt/reach steering The lock lever is located directly beneath the ignition lock. Move the lock lever downwards. Grasp the steering wheel and move as required. It can be moved up or down, pulled towards you or pushed away from you.

Chapter 1 1-12 DASHBOARD VENT/LA TION The car features a flow through ventilation system for your comfort. Under reasonable conditions it shouldn't be necessary to open the windows at any time. Outside air is drawn into the car through the opening at the base of the windscreen. Do not allow this opening to become clogged with debris, such as leaves or snow.

Chapter EMERGENCIES ACCIDENTS All motorists are advised to learn what to do at the scene of an accident, particularly where persons are injured. Injured people can choke to death if their air passages are not cleared. They can bleed to death unless the bleeding is stopped. Chapter 6-11 EMERGENCIES AUTO TRANS WITH FLAT BATTERY For safety, the transmission has an electric PARK lock so that the key must be in the ignition (in the ON position) before the T-bar can be moved away from the "P" position. If the car's battery is flat the T -bar cannot be moved, as required for towing.

Chapter 6 6-12 EMERGENCIES ENGINE OVERHEATING CAUTION: Immediate action is required if the engine overheats. This can be indicated by the temperature gauge needle moving to the red zone, by steam escaping from under the bonnet, a loss of power or a loud knocking or pinging noise.

Note that with this type of sealed, pressurised cooling system there should be very little loss of coolant. If the surge tank is low a leak is indicated. Therefore you should see your Holden Dealer as soon as possible to fix the leak. Out-of-balance wheels and tyres can cause annoying vibration and uneven tyre wear such as cupping and flat spots. If you have any reason to suspect that either of the above problems exist then have a wheel alignment and balance check done by your Holden Dealer.
