Connecting an audio device

Connect the audio output of the
audio device to the AUX input
terminal.
The audio system will automatically
switch to AUX mode when the
device is connected.
• If the AUX device is already
connected, press CD/AUX (9)
to select.

USB player

Cautions when using USB devices

• Operation cannot be guaranteed
if a HDD USB mass storage
device, or a CF or SD memory
card is connected by using a
USB adaptor. Use a USB flash
memory type storage device.
• Avoid static electricity when
connecting or disconnecting
the USB. Avoid connecting and
disconnection over a short time.
• To remove the USB device, see
Removing the USB on page 105
by rotating MENU•TUNE (14).
• Avoid touching the USB
connecting terminal with any
objects or fingers.
• The USB storage device can
only be recognised when it is
formatted in FAT16/32 file format.
• This product displays MP3
(WMA) files with the mp3, .wma
or .MP3 or .WMA file name
extensions.
