21. Screw the tyre inflation hose to
free the connection of the sealant
bottle. This prevents sealant from
escaping.
22. Stow the tyre repair kit in the
load compartment.
Warning
Always stow the tyre repair kit in
its original position. Unsecured
loads increase the risk of injury
during heavy braking, sudden
avoidance manoeuvres or a
collision.
23. Remove any excess sealant
using a cloth.
24. After inflating the tyre, remove
the maximum speed label and
place it in a visible location.
It reminds you to drive cautiously
and not to exceed 80 km/h until
the damaged tyre is replaced or
repaired.
25. Continue driving immediately so
that sealant is evenly distributed
in the tyre.
26. After driving approximately 10 km
(but no more than 10 minutes),
stop at a safe location to check
the tyre pressure.
27. Screw the compressor air hose
directly onto the tyre valve and
compressor to check the tyre
pressure.
28. If the tyre pressure is more than
1.3 bar, set it to the correct value
(approx. 2.4 bar).
Vehicle care
29. Repeat the procedure from Step
25 until there is no more loss of
pressure.
If the tyre pressure has fallen
below 1.3 bar, do not continue
driving. Contact a Holden Dealer.
30. Dispose of the used tyre sealant
canister at a Holden Dealer or in
accordance with local and State
codes and practices. Replace
with a new canister.
31. Stow the tyre repair kit in the
load compartment.
This is a temporary puncture repair.
Take the vehicle to a Holden Dealer
to have the tyre repaired or replaced
as soon as possible.
