Vehicle care

Owner responsibility

The engine, engine control system
and exhaust system of the vehicle
must NOT be modified in any way.
Warning
Any person who removes,
modifies or hinders any part of the
emission control system may be
contravening Australian Design
Rules. It is also illegal to drive a
vehicle modified in this way.

Maintenance requirements

Have the vehicle serviced at the
frequency shown in the Maintenance
schedule, in the Service/Warranty
Booklet.
It is recommended that servicing
be carried out by an authorised
Holden Dealer who will maintain the
vehicle's emission control system as
per the Service/Warranty Booklet.

Vehicle storage

If the vehicle is to be stored for
several months:
• Wash and wax the vehicle.
• Clean and preserve rubber seals.
• Change engine oil.
• Drain the washer fluid reservoir.
• Check coolant and corrosion
protection.
Adjust the tyre pressure to the
value specified for a full load.
Park the vehicle in a dry, well
ventilated place.
Engage first or reverse gear to
prevent the vehicle from moving.
Do not apply the park brake.
Open the bonnet, close all doors
and lock the vehicle.
Disconnect the clamp from the
negative terminal of the vehicle
battery.
Close the bonnet.
Before returning the vehicle to
the road:
• Connect the clamp to the
negative terminal of the vehicle
battery.
Check the power windows
operation.
• Check the tyre pressures.
• Fill the washer fluid reservoir.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Check the coolant level.
