5. Uncoil and remove protective packaging from the drain line on the
bottom of the BPC. Do not remove the protective packaging from
the top of the BPC as this time.
6. For 50, 100, and 200 L BPCs, ensure that the circular plastic
support collar on the drain line is positioned close to the bottom of
the bag. This collar will support the BPC over the drain hole.
7. If it is not already open, remove the outside drain line cap and
washer from the bottom of 100 and 200 L drums.
8. Insert the drain line through the hole in the bottom of the conical
drum insert. Note: 300 L drums do not use drain lines.
9. Thread the drain line through the bottom front face of the drum, if
applicable.
10. Carefully lower the bottom of the BPC into the drum with any
tubing sets on the top of the BPC draped over the side until the
bearing assembly at the top of the BPC is about level with the
drive shaft motor (Figure 2.21).
11. Roll the drum directly under the motor assembly of the docking
station. Note: To properly place the drum under the docking
station, the motor head may need to be lifted. To operate the lift
mechanism, see section 2.6.2.
12. Remove the protective black cap from the bearing port and slide
the port into the receiver of the motor mount block and lock into
