3.3 Troubleshooting

The mixer will not operate (height adjustment does not
operate or the speed control is unresponsive).
There is an issue with power being supplied to the system.
Ensure that the system is plugged into a correctly-rated wall
outlet, and that the main power switch on the E-Box is in the "On"
position.
Ensure that the facility breaker for the outlet being used by the
reactor has not been tripped. If tripped, verify the total current
load on the breaker circuit and make modifications, if necessary.
Note: The S.U.M. should be on its own dedicated electrical outlet.
Only certified electricians are authorized to open the E-Box.
The E‑Stop has disabled the power to the unit.
Ensure that the green E-Stop switch on the E-Box is illuminated. If it is
not illuminated, twist the red E-Stop button on the top of the handheld
control device to return it to the operating position, then press the
E-Stop reset button on the E-Box. The green E-Stop button on the
E-Box should be illuminated.
There are loose cord connections, or a fuse is tripped or blown
inside the unit.
Verify that all cords are plugged in tightly to the connections on
the outside of the E-Box.
Disconnect the main power cord and inspect the electrical
fuses inside the E-Box. Determine the fault condition by visual
inspection. If the fault condition cannot be determined by visual
inspection, contact Thermo Scientific technical support. Only
certified electricians are authorized to open the E-Box.
The rpm display on the handheld control device is inaccurate.
The motor needs to be calibrated. Contact Thermo Scientific
support personnel.
