2.3 Docking station preparation

To prepare the DS 300 S.U.M. for use, follow the steps below.
1. Use the steering handle to roll the docking station into the desired
location for mixing. When the unit is in position and the handle
is not in use, lower the steering handle by pulling on the locking
pin on the side and pushing the handle down, as shown in Figure
2.10.
Note: All movement of the DS 300 S.U.M. hardware unit should
be over smooth surfaces with the unit detached from the drum
and dolly and disconnected from all power and feed sources.
2. Verify that the facility's electrical supplies are sufficient to support
the power requirements of the DS 300. The unit should be
plugged into a minimum 8 amp outlet.
3. Engage the caster brakes on the rear wheels of the docking
station (Figure 2.11).
