4.4.2 Other alarms

Malfunction alarm
When the Speedlane 900 fails to initialise an alarm is generated. The alarm is also generated
when the Speedlane 900 is mechanically blocked during operation.
Anti-masking detection
The Speedlane 900 has an anti-masking detection. Masking is the condition when one of the
sensors is triggered (covered) continuously for more than 10 seconds. When one of the
sensors notices masking, the acoustic alarm will be activated after ten seconds. The alarm
continues for three seconds. This alarm will also be activated when a person stays to long in
the detection area. The alarm repeats after ten seconds.
