5.7 Replacing the battery on
GARDENA R100Li, R100LiC,
R130Li, R130LiC and R160Li
1.
Unscrew the four screws to the battery cover
(Torx 20) and remove the battery cover.
2.
Carefully lift out the battery and release the
connectors. NOTE! Do not pull the cables.
Hold the connectors and release the latch.
3.
Connect a new original battery by pressing the
connectors together until it locks.
4.
Place the battery with the sticker "This side
down" downwards in the battery opening.
5.
Fit the battery cover without clamping the
cables. If the seal on the battery cover is
visibly damaged, the entire battery cover must
be replaced.
6.
Carefully cross-tighten the four screws for the
battery cover (Torx 20).

5.8 Replacing the main circuit board

1.
A mower's operating information is stored
in the main circuit board. The Autocheck EXP
service program saves this information in
the log book and then transfers it back to the
mower again when the main circuit board has
been replaced. The mower must therefore be
connected to Autocheck EXP before replacing
the main circuit board. The operating data
is then saved automatically.
2.
Disassemble the body. See 5.2.1
Disassembling the body on page 59.
3.
Disassemble the chassis. See 5.2.2
Disassembling the chassis on page 59.
4.
Disconnect all cables from the main circuit
board. Always pull the connector and NOT the
cable. Note the connector to which the cables
are fitted so that the right cable is in the right
position when reassembling. The main circuit
board is also labelled to show which function
each connector has.
5.
Unscrew the two screws (Torx 20) that secure
the main circuit board bracket to the chassis'
lower section.
6.
Remove the old main circuit board. If the
board is to be checked in order to evaluate
the guarantee it should be stored in a bag
with protection against ESD (electrostatic
discharge).
7.
Fit the new main circuit board and holders.
8.
Connect all connectors to the main circuit
board. Check that the cables are connected to
the correct place.
9.
Fit the chassis and body.
