Pull the equipment frame forwards.
Assembling the equipment frame
1.
Insert the equipment frame in position
2.
Fit the chain for the lift of the equipment
frame. Insert the hairpin spring from the
rear.
3.
Fit the guide screw on the left-hand side.
The screw is inserted at angle from the
front through the hole in the equipment
frame, whereupon the frame is moved
back until the guide screw enters the
hole in the bracket.
4.
Fit the guide screw on the right-hand
side.
5.
Check that the lifting lever works. If it is
not locked in the raised position when
the equipment frame is fully lifted, the
chain must be recogged.
6.
Hook in the springs in the equipment
frame and insert the eyebolts in the
bracket. Make the basic setting with the
locking nuts so that the eyebolts protrude
45 mm. (Final setting is dependent on
the weight of the cutting unit.)
7.
Fit the stay for the mowing height adjust-
ment. Risk for incorrect assembly; turn
the stay so that the split pin is on the
inside of the triangle link.
8.
Fit the front wings.
9.
Fit the cutting unit.
10. Adjust the ground pressure, see
"Checking and Adjusting the Ground
Pressure".
11. Lock the adjuster nuts on the eyebolts.

WARNING!
Wear protective glasses when
assembling the cutting unit. The
springs that tension the belt can fly
off and cause personal injury.

Place the Rider on a flat surface and
apply the parking brake. Check that the
lever for setting the cutting height is in
the lowest position.
Ensure the anti-scalp roller is fitted on
the cutting unit (1).
