5.40 Locking time of heat pump stage 2
• Prevents premature switching on of the second heat pump stage
The second heat pump stage may be released only when the locking time has elapsed.
The locking time starts at the point in time heat pump stage 1 is released.

1..60
The locking time enables heat pump stage 1 to reach a stable condition before heat
pump stage 2 is allowed to switch on.
5.41 Release integral heat pump stage 2
• Prevents frequent switching on / off of heat pump stage 2
If the capacity of heat pump stage 1 is no longer sufficient, the controller starts calcu-
lating the heat deficit. For that, the controller calculates the temperature crossing below
the limit over time until the adjusted value is reached.

0...500
As soon as the locking time for the second heat pump stage (operating line 420
elapsed, the controller starts calculating the heat deficit, if there is any.
When the integral is reached, heat pump stage 2 will be released.
