14.2

Load diagram

Load diagram decals are positioned close to control
devices at a clearly visible, suitable location on the
platform. The decal clearly shows the nominal load
and a load diagram describing the maximum permitted
load at various places on the platform.
14.3

Identification plate

The identification plate is fitted to the frame of the tail
lift and contains the following information:
Type of lift
Max permitted load in kg
Production number
Year of manufacture
Address and tel. no. of manufacturer
Country of manufacture
EC / ECE type number of approved underrun protection
Corresponding identification plate in decal design,
preferably placed on the cabin door upright for reliable
identification.
14.4

Work area

A "work area" decal must be attached to the platform
so that any drivers parking behind the vehicle know
that 5 m clearance is needed for the platform to open
and that sufficient space should be left for loading and
unloading.
