Load diagram
Load diagram decals are positioned close
to control devices at a suitable, clearly
visible location on the platform. The de-
cal clearly shows the nominal load and
a load diagram describing the maximum
permitted loads at various locations on
the platform.
9.3
Identification plate
The identification plate is fitted to the
frame of the tail lift and contains the fol-
lowing information:

Type of lift
•
Maximum permitted load in kg
•
Production number
•
Year of manufacture
•
Address and telephone no. of manu-
facturer
•
Country of manufacture
•
Type no. for approved underrun pro-
tection (RUPD)
•
Type no. for electromagnetic compat-
ibility (EMC)
Corresponding identification plate in de-
cal design, preferably located on the cab
door pillar for reliable identification.
9.4
Work area
A "work area" decal must be attached to
the platform so that any drivers park-
ing behind the vehicle know that a 5 m
clearance is required for the platform to
open and that sufficient space should
be left for loading and unloading.
