1. Vertical Path
a. Upper Deck
For the paper picked up from the upper deck, the drive of the vertical path upper
feed motor (M002) and vertical path lower feed motor (M003) triggers rotation of the
vertical path upper feed roller, vertical path middle feed roller, and vertical path lower
feed roller to feed paper on the vertical path at 750 mm/sec. The paper feed state is
detected by the vertical path upper sensor (S001), vertical path middle sensor (S002),
and vertical path lower sensor (S003).
b. Middle Deck
For the paper picked up from the middle deck, the drive of the vertical path lower feed
motor (M003) triggers the rotation of the vertical path lower feed roller to feed paper
on the vertical path at 750 mm/sec. The paper feed state is detected by the vertical
path lower sensor (S003).
c. Lower deck
For the paper picked up from the lower deck, the drive of the vertical path lower feed
motor (M003) triggers the rotation of the lower feed roller to feed paper on the vertical
path at 750 mm/sec. The paper feed state is detected by the lower deck feed sensor
(S004).
2. Horizontal Path
a. Upper deck/Middle deck/Lower deck
For the paper fed from the vertical path, the drive of the horizontal feed (M004)
triggers the rotation of the horizontal feed right roller and the horizontal feed left roller
to feed paper on the horizontal path at 750 mm/sec. When the delivery sensor (S005)
detects the leading edge of paper, the paper stops
temporarily at the entrance to the pickup block of the host machine. The paper is
then delivered to the host machine after synchronizing with the operation of the host
machine.
The paper feed state is detected by the delivery sensor (S005).
