Swing Operation
This equipment combines the air blowing operation against coated paper with the swing
operation of the shutter to improve separation of coated paper. The swing motor (M102,
M202, M302) drives the shutter to move up and down. The direction of air blow against paper
changes up or down repeatedly, vibrating the paper for easier separation.
The swing HP sensor (S116, S216, S316) detects a failure of up and down operation of the
shutter and the home position of the shutter.
MEMO:
Swing operation is performed in the same manner for all decks.

Paper Surface Detection Control
The paper surface sensor (S104, S204, S304) mounted at the pickup roller of each deck is
used to detect the paper surface. When the paper surface detection lever is pushed up by
the top surface of paper with the upward movement of the lifter, the paper surface detection
sensor detects it and the lifter stops to keep the top surface of paper at the pickup position.
