Air Heater (Option) Control
To facilitate separation of coated paper in a high-humidity environment, an air heater unit
(HT101, HT202, HT301) is available optionally. A left flotation fan (FAN101, FAN201,FAN301)
with an air heater blows hot wind against paper to reduce the humidity, thus facilitating
separation of coated paper.
MEMO:
The air heater can be mounted in each deck.

Air heater control is performed by the DC controller PCB of the host machine via the deck
driver PCB.
Air heater control items are listed below.
MEMO:
The air heater (HT201, HT301), flotation fan (FAN201, FAN301, FAN202, FAN302), and
swing motor (M202, M302) are also controlled in the same manner as the following air
heater (HT101), flotation fan (FAN101, FAN102), and swing motor (M102).

*1: The right flotation fan is set at OFF for all types of paper when the size of the paper is B5,
A4 or LTR.
*2: The fan speed changes (12V/13V/19V/20V) depending on the temperature and humidity
detected by the environment sensor (S008).
*3: The air heater temperature control changes (60ºC/90ºC OFF) depending on the
temperature and humidity detected by the environment sensor (S008).
