USB on Linux

Linux distributions can use one of many different graphical interfaces. Due to this the following guide
is kept as generic as possible, and you might need to consult your distribution's help.
Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the Linux computer via an USB device cable
(Type A to Type B).
1. Find your distro's Control Panel and find the dialogue to add a printer
2. The printer should show up as USB printer named 'Generic_/_Text_Only (<serial number>)'
3. Select it and choose 'Generic' - 'Generic Raw Queue' as the printer driver
