Place the paper roll

Put the shaft in the center of the roll, and ensure that the shaft is approximately in the centre side-
ways. Fasten the shaft. The roll must be placed so the paper end is pointing away from the printer at
the top of the roll. (See figure).

Use the crank to lower the two arms so it is lower than the shaft in the paper roll.
Then roll the paper roll carefully in between the two arms.
When the shaft ends are correctly aligned above the notches, use the crank to raise the arms and lift
the paper roll off the floor.
