7.4 Optimising during dynamic trial fitting
► During the dynamic trial fitting, test and optimise the prosthesis with its
various distal prosthetic components.
CAUTION! If the settings of the prosthesis with its various distal pros­
thetic components exhibit opposing effects, the safety-related aspects
always have to take precedence over everything else in choosing a com­
promise setting.
7.5 Attaching the cosmetic cover
► Fabricate the cosmetic cover so that the quick-change function can be
operated reliably.
7.6 Finishing the prosthesis
► To finish the prosthesis, all screw connections have to be tightened
according to the prescribed specifications with regard to Nm and the
use of thread lock, and the correct functioning of the prosthesis has to
be tested with its various distal prosthetic components.
8 Use
CAUTION
Mechanical overload
Falling due to breakage of load-bearing components, impaired functionality
due to mechanical damage
► Check the product for damage prior to each use.
► Do not use the product if its functionality has been impaired.
► Take any necessary measures (e.g. repair, replacement, inspection by
the manufacturer's customer service, etc.).
Using the quick-change function
CAUTION
Using the product without tightening the locking pin
Risk of injury due to prosthetic components coming loose
► Before using the prosthesis, verify that the locking pin is tightened.
► Perform the quick change of the distal prosthetic components according
to the sequence shown in Figure 
: In doing so, tighten the locking pin by hand.
