Error treatment

Festo P.BE-CP-CO2-EN en 0107NH
You can parametrize the reaction of the valves and any out-
puts to an error. As standard, all valves/outputs are reset
when the following faults and operating states occur:
Communication errors (Node guard, Heart beat).
Transfer from Operational to Pre-Operational or Stopped.
The status of the valves/outputs can be modified via the in-
dices 6206 and 6207 (Default Output Mode, Error State Out-
put) (see chapter 2.4.3).
The general reaction of the valve terminal to errors (communi-
cation errors, errors at the input or output module) can be
parametrized via index 1029.
Default setting via index 1029 (see chapter 2.4):
Communication errors lead to Pre-Operational.
Input and output errors do not lead to a change of status.
Warning
S Make sure that valves and outputs are reset when the
faults named occur.
If the valves and outputs are not reset, this may lead to
dangerous situations.
Please note
If the outputs are reset in the event of a PLC stop, field bus
interruption or field bus fault, please observe the follow-
ing:
– Single-solenoid valves move to the basic position.
– Double-solenoid valves remain in the current position.
– Mid-position valves move to the mid-position (depend-
ing on valve type: pressurized, exhausted or blocked).
