CAUTION: Mixing drive blanks from previous generations of PowerEdge servers is not supported.
Steps
1. Press the release button.
2. Slide the drive blank out of the drive slot.

Installing the drive blank

Prerequisites

1. Insert the drive blank into the drive slot.
2. Push the blank until the release button clicks into place.
