    Introduction The Dell EMC™ PowerEdge™ R940xa is designed to run complex workloads using highly scalable memory, I/O, and network options. The systems features the Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor family, with up to 48 DDR4 DIMMs, 12 PCI Express® PCIe Gen3 enabled expansion slots, and a choice of embedded NIC technologies.
