Set the gas selector switch to ALL GASES.
Open the carbon dioxide cylinder valve.
Let the pressure stabilize.
Close the carbon dioxide cylinder valve and remove the cylinder.
Observe the carbon dioxide cylinder pressure gauge.
After two (2) minutes, what is the pressure loss? ___ PSI (<50)
Attach the carbon dioxide cylinder.
Open and close the oxygen cylinder valve.
Open the nitrous oxide cylinder valve.
Set the O
and N
O flows to 4 l/min.

Does the flow of nitrous oxide cease when the oxygen pressure is
depleted? ___ (Y)
Connect the O
pipeline supply.

Close the nitrous oxide cylinder valve and bleed the pressure from
the circuit.
Connect the N
O pipeline supply.

Disconnect the O
pipeline supply.

Does the flow of nitrous oxide cease when the oxygen pressure is
