9. Remove the exhaust pipe.
10. Remove the spring on the belt tensioner and lift
transmission belt from the belt tensioner.
11. Loosen the PTO clutch. Refer to
clutch on page 37 .
12. Remove the 4 engine nuts.
13. Lift the engine.
14. Install the engine in the opposite sequence.
Note: The belt pulley groove must align with the
output shaft key. Make sure that the spacer pipe (A)
and shaft key (B) are attached to the engine shaft.
Put grease on the engine shaft when you attach the
engine belt pulley.

To remove the PTO
9.2.3 To remove the PTO clutch
1. Hold the spacer (A) below the PTO clutch (B) with a
wrench.
2. Remove the screw (C).
3. Remove the spacer (A) from the PTO clutch.
