3. Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors from the
engine.
4. Loosen the clips that hold the throttle cable and the
choke cable. Disconnect the cables from the
carburetor casing.

5. Remove the hose clamps adjacent to the fuel filter
and pull the fuel hose down. A small quantity of fuel
can come out of the hoses or the filter.
6. Disconnect the fuel return hose.
7. Remove the nuts (A) that hold the heat shield on the
exhaust pipe and remove the heat shield.

8. Remove the clamps (B) on the exhaust pipe.
