6. Remove the 4 screws that hold the hydraulic oil
cooler.
7. Remove the hydraulic oil cooler.
8. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.5.12 To replace and do a check of the hydraulic
thermostat sensor
1. Remove the right footrest plate and the right side
covers. Refer to To remove the covers on page 24 .
2. Remove the thermostat sensor from the hydraulic
hose.
3. Turn the ignition switch to position 1.

4. Heat up the thermostat sensor with a hot air gun.
5. Replace the thermostat sensor if the hydraulic oil
cooler does not start when the thermostat sensor is
at the temperature of 70ºC.
6. Disconnect the connector on the thermostat sensor
wire and connect a new thermostat sensor.
9.5.13 To bleed the drive system
CAUTION: Read
before the hydraulic system is repaired.
CAUTION: Air can go into the system. Do not
run the transmission oil tank empty while you
bleed the drive system. Fill the transmission oil
tank fully when it is filled.
CAUTION: Do not operate the speed pedals
when the controls for the clutch valves are
disengaged.

3. Attach an exhaust hose.
WARNING: Engine exhaust contains
poisonous carbon monoxide.
4. Fill the transmission tank with oil. Wait some
minutes and fill the transmission oil tank again.
