Using the Command and Response Tables

The
Symbols used in the table represent variables in the command and response fields.
Command and response examples are shown throughout the table. The SIS commands are
not case sensitive. The ASCII to Hex conversion table below is for use with the command
and response table.

The switcher does not accept these characters as the name of the switcher, passwords, or
locally created file names. All alpha-numeric characters permitted except

ASCII to Hex Conversion Table
For commands and examples of computer or device responses used in this guide,
the character "0" is used for the number zero and "O" is the capital letter "o."
Only instances marked with a • character require a space. Any spaces between
characters in the command and response tables are only inserted for ease of
reading.
Unless stated otherwise, SIS commands are not case sensitive.
