1. Overview

The purpose of this manual is to describe the Ingecon
correct receipt, installation, start-up, operation and maintenance.

1.1. Equipment description

An inverter is a circuit used to convert direct current to alternating current. The function of the Ingecon
units is to convert the direct current generated by photovoltaic solar panels to alternating current and so enable it to
be fed to the electricity grid.

1.1.1. Models

Sun Power product family is split into two: units with a transformer and units without a transformer (TL).

Units with a transformer are designed to be connected directly to the 400 Vac low voltage public grid.
TL modes have different AC output voltages and are designed for connection to a private network with an IT configura-
tion (with floating neutral) connected in turn to the distribution grid. This means that the neutral of the private network
must be insulated from ground.
