Optical Disk Drive
This section describes the procedure for installing the optional optical disk drive.
Installation
1.12.1
Install an optical disk drive in the following procedure.
(a)
3.5-inch Hard Disk Drive model
1.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.6 Removing the Top Cover) to remove the top cover.
3.
Unscrew one of the screws securing the
bracket of the optical disk drive and
remove the optical disk drive cover.
4.
Install the optical disk drive.
5.
Screw the bracket you removed in step 2
to secure the optical disk drive in place.
6.
Put the removed components.

Important
Do not install any unsupported optical disk drive.
Optical disk drive bay
Important Keep the screw and dummy tray in the optical disk drive for future use.
