Connecting cables

1.9.1
To use an on-board RAID Controller or optional RAID Controller, the interface cable must be connected.
Refer to the figures below for how to connect cables.
If using the on-board RAID Controller for 3.5-inch model
Orient the cable so that the first pin of the cable (marked with ∆)
will connect to the first pin of the SGPIO1 connector (marked with
a bold line) on the backplane.

Important
Both SAS Hard Disk Drives and SATA Hard Disk Drives cannot be installed.
Tips
When using SAS Hard Disk Drives, RAID Controllers must be connected.
