Power-up Procedure

For best performance, power-up your system in the following order.
No output will be sent until the startup show file has been loaded.
Action
1. Turn on external hub(s)
or switch(es)
2. Turn on the console and
monitor(s)
3. Start the Cobalt
software
4. Choose starting Play
5. Turn on any ETCNet2
Nodes and accessories
such as Remote Focus
units

NOTE
In a network with multiple Cobalt Systems online, allow the main system to
fully start-up before starting the other systems. This will ensure that your
network configures correctly.
Hardware Feedback
Power switches
Power and/or reset The displays will light up
switch on console and with the Cobalt logo. The
monitors. screens will load the login
screen.
You can select start option
[MODIFY]
with mouse or console keys
(trackball or arrow keys).
A popup will give the choice
[MODIFY] or [ESC]
of the last play (or recovery)
or a new play. See New.
