8.4 Derating according to Ambient
Temperature and Switching Frequency
The ambient temperature measured over 24 hours should
be at least 5 °C (41 °F) lower than the maximum ambient
temperature. If the frequency converter is operated at high
ambient temperature, the constant output current should
be decreased. If the ambient temperature is higher than 50
°C (122 °F) or the installation by altitude is higher than
1000 m (3281 ft), a larger CDS 803 drive might be needed
to run an undersized compressor.
