The four set screws can be used to make static adjustments at any time
during alignment, trial fittings, and even after the prosthesis is finished. The
previously adjusted position can be maintained if a module is replaced or
during disassembly, when only two set screws, which are located beside
one another and turned in the furthest, are removed.
Final assembly:
 CAUTION
Risk of falling due to loosening of the set screws while the prosthe-
sis is in use
The applied strains can cause the set screws to come loose.
Secure the set screws with 636K13 Loctite® and observe the prescribed
torque specifications.
Use the 710D4 torque wrench to tighten the set screws!
1) Use 636K13 Loctite® to install the set screws.
2) Pre-tighten the set screws in a clockwise direction using the 710D4
torque wrench.
Tightening torque value: 10 Nm.
3) Then immediately tighten the set screws in a clockwise direction using
the 710D4 torque wrench.
Tightening torque value: 15 Nm (see Fig. 1)
Set screws which seem too long or too short for the adjusted position
should be replaced with suitable corresponding ones from the 4D27 single-
component pack.
Use the 710D4 torque wrench to tighten the cylinder head screw!
Use the 710D4 torque wrench to tighten the cylinder head screw, both for
trial fitting and for final assembly.
Tightening torque value: 10 Nm (see Fig. 1)
5.3  Socket design recommendation
5.3.1  Preparing the lamination anchor
1) Remove the threaded part from the lamination anchor.
2) Grease the threads of the adapter and the cylinder head screw with
silicone grease and screw in the 4X46 lamination aid.
