Terminal assignment and power supply

You have to use a BaseUnit of the BU type B1 or BU type B0 for the SIMATIC ET 200SP TM
ECC PL ST.
Connect all the required inputs/outputs (CP, PP, DQ T, DQ P) - and in the case of a
BaseUnit BU type B1 also a 24 V DC voltage source - to the BaseUnit of the technology
module.
Note
Note that interferences with particularly high voltage levels can occur at cables that are
routed outside buildings due to environmental factors.
The SIMATIC ET 200SP TM ECC PL ST is designed for overvoltages in industrial
environments within buildings.
The supply of several charging stations with a shared 24 V supply is not recommended.
When selecting the locally mounted 24 V power supply unit take into account that it has to be
suitable to bridge voltage drops possibly existing on the supply line of the charging station.
NOTICE
All the external connections of the BaseUnit are sourced to the same ground potential
For the charging equipment to function without problems, you need a ground rod at the
charging station as reference for this ground potential.
Galvanic isolation exists to the system bus of the ET 200SP.
Note
Ensure a low resistance connection of the standard mounting rail to the ground potential
(FE). Design according to VDE 0100-600.
You must also regularly check the functioning of the functional ground connection during the
proof tests that are performed for the charging equipment.
BaseUnit
The BaseUnit is not included in the scope of delivery of the technology module SIMATIC ET
200SP TM ECC PL ST. It must be ordered separately.
