The vehicle indicates its state by applying corresponding resistances. In order to determine
the vehicle state the positive component of the PWM signal is acquired as the peak value
(U
) and is read in:

TRIP function
The amplitude of the CP (Control Pilot) pilot signal is evaluated. As soon as the Charge state
C or the Charge state D (for the definition of the states please refer to IEC 61851-1) is
reached, the associated Open Collector output (DQ T) becomes conductive. Otherwise it is
high-impedance.
Note
Since the TRIP function is executed to a great extent in the hardware, state transitions in the
charging process can be recognized and signaled very rapidly.
You can use the TRIP signal to observe the switch-off times required by the standard. Use
application means to ensure that after deactivation of the TRIP signal (DQ-T becomes high-
impedance) the power flow is interrupted within the switch-off times required by the standard
and that the charging cable is de-energized.
The switch-off delay of the DC output via the DIN_70121 function block is not suitable for
guaranteeing the switch-off times required by the standard.
