Adjusting the channel intensity
The Promed IT-6 has 2 output channels. you may either use a channel

having a pair of electrodes, or both channels with two pairs of electrodes.
There is an intensity regulator at the side of the device for each channel
(D) and (E). By rotating each slider upwards, the intensity is increased

when the intensity reaches to 1 mA, the device starts to operate on that
channel. The maximum output voltage of the device is 90 mA. By rotating

each slider downwards, the intensity is decreased when the intensity re-
aches to 0 mA, the device stops to operate on that channel.

Caution:
1. The intensity of the stimulation depends on the individual need of the

patient.
2. The words „Work" or „Rest" on LcD-Display means that the device
gives a signal or there is no signal.

3. If the electrodes are not placed firmly on the skin, or the device is not
connected to the electrodes, the intensity automatically resets to 0 mA,
provided the intensity is at least 10 mA.

4. Before removing the electrodes, make sure that the device is switched off.
5. If the treatment time is up, the intensity is automatically adjusted to 0
mA.

6. In case of an emergency please press the "P"-button (G) to cancel
the stop the treatment. The device will remain in pause mode. Press the
"S"-button (H) to continue the treatment.
Programming the user program
Press "oN / oFF" (C) to switch on the device. Then press the "P"-button
(G), to select the user programme Pc1, it consists of 3 programme modes.
you can set the parameters (pulse rate, pause time, pulse width, treatment
time, and working time, ramp up time, ramp return time, sleep time, and
waveform) according to your needs for each program mode.
Press the "S"-Button (H), to toggle between the individual program
modes. The display of the programme phase on LcD-Display (F) will ap-
pear as follows:
Press and hold the "S"-button (H) to reach to the setting mode. Then
either press the "▲"-button (I) or the "▼"-button (J), to select „Work
Rest" or „cont". If you select „cont", the stimulation is continuous and
you can set the parameters like pulse frequency, pulse width and treat-
ment time. If you select „Work Rest", you can set all the parameters.
