Step 3: Enter the name of the new connection in the [Name] field and click <OK>. The
dialog box as shown in Figure 4-3 pops up.
Step 4: Select the serial port to be used from the Connect Using drop-down list. The
serial port selected here must be the one connected to the console cable.

Step 5: Click <OK>. The [Settings] tab appears as shown in Figure 4-4, and you can set
the serial port parameters. Set the following parameters:
Bits per second = 9600
Data bits = 8
Parity = none
