Installation and mounting

5.1

Mounting the device

Warning!
Fault or damage of the device caused by wrong mounting location.
In case of non-observation, the safety and function of the device as well as other devices
or plants are not ensured.

Select the mounting location according to the type of protection of the device (IP30).

Protect the device against foreign bodies of 2.5 mm or larger and against spraying
water.

Please observe the notes on the types of housing protection (IEC 60529).
The device can be mounted on the termination boards of the H-system:
All HiD2000 devices can be connected to every mounting station and can be mixed on the termination
board.
For additional information on the termination boards, please refer to the instruction manual
HiD2000 and the "HiD2000 Termination Boards" manual on our website at
www.pepperl-fuchs.com/pa (entry in product search: HiD2891).
If you want to use a customised termination board, please contact your Pepperl+Fuchs
assistant.
