5 Installation and mounting
5.1

Mounting

Warning!
Fault or damage of the device caused by wrong mounting location.
In case of non-observation, the safety and function of the device as well as other devices or
plants are not ensured.
• Select the mounting location according to the type of protection of the device (IP30).
• Protect the device against foreign bodies of 2.5 mm or larger and against spraying
water.
• Please observe the notes on the types of housing protection (IEC 60529).
This devices mount on HiC or HiD Termination Boards. All devices can be connected to every mounting
station and can be mixed on the termination board.
For additional information on the termination boards, please refer to system description on
our website at www.pepperl-fuchs.com (entry in product search: HiC2081, HiD2081 or
HiD2082).
If you want to use a customized Termination Board, please contact your Pepperl+Fuchs
assistant.
